-Combines products from top retailers, both new and thrifted, into one space
-Eliminates the need to conduct outside research to verify the sustainability of a garment before purchase
-Recommends similar thrifted garments to eliminate the need to search across resale sites
With this in mind, we delegated how we would represent this creation with our individual strengths in mind. One group member created branding and sustainability algorithm, one member created and designed the actual app, and I designed a physical storefront to combat the major environmental issues surrounding e-commerce and return culture.
The EcoThreads storefront is dedicated to in-person returns and the reselling of returned products, reducing landfill waste and minimizing the emissions and packaging associated with shipping returns.
